A few months ago I collaborated with motion designer Real Creations to create an original video clip for our client. The client is a large fashion designer firm which goes back more than 100 years. The task was to create a clip that would emphasize on the firm's great history, and for this purpose I drew black and white, ink illustrations reminiscent of art styles of the 1900's.

I had so much fun working on these characters! I love vintage illustrations, I love the Victorian era and drawing in a different style than my usual colourful, cartoon style, was quite invigorating! As reference for the characters and their details (clothes, make up, hair, etc.) I used various photos from the 1890s, 1920s and 1960s.
